Additionally, a doctor should not prescribe medications to a pregnant woman when they are known to cause birth complications and birth defects; many different medications out there are known to cause these issues and should never be prescribed to a pregnant woman.
Many times, when a pregnant woman takes medications that can be harmful to a developing fetus, a miscarriage may result. When this doesn’t happen and the baby is carried to full term, complications during the delivery may arise. When complications arise, a normal birthing process may have to deviate from the traditional procedures that are involved. Sometimes, a C-Section may be necessary.
