Did you know? ALJs in the Social Security Administration’s Office of Disability Adjudication and Review hear appeals for disability benefits applications that have been rejected at least twice. You can file an appeal asking for a hearing in front of an Administrative Law Judge if the SSA has rejected your application twice. You can further appeal an ALJ verdict in front of the Appeals Council. If you are rejected again and still believe you deserve disability benefits, you can file a lawsuit against the SSA in federal court.
