Local Law Firms Home > Criminal Defense News > Chris Brown Facing Criminal Charges Per the report from Miami Beach Police, Christal Spann notice Brown was exiting Cameo nightclub in Miami Beach from a side exit, then approached Brown's car and took a photo of him inside the vehicle. Afterward, Spann said, Brown reached out the car and took the phone from her hand, saying, "You ain't going to put that on no website." Then, according to the police report, he rolled up the window and drove away with the phone still in his possession. Brown's latest act comes on the finishing end of a random disagreement with WWE star CM Punk, who initially began arguing with Brown over Twitter and then posted a video explaining that he didn't mean to stir up controversy—because Brown had already accomplished that. "I have no need for a PR team to tell me what to tweet or when to delete tweets," the wrestler stated. "And I don't hit women...In my world, women are to be revered and respected, and I firmly believe that in this life there are consequences and repercussions for people's actions. I don't think Chris has paid for what he's done," he added. Brown's been receiving good probation reports since pleading guilty to felony assault and receiving his sentence, so it would behoove him to clarify this recent act before the police's investigation into what occurred results into something more. "My prosecutors are currently speaking with witnesses and reviewing all of the materials supplied by Miami Beach Police," said State Attorney Katherine Fernandez Rundle from Miami Dade.
