Reclast is a treatment for osteoporosis manufactured by Novartis and approved by the Federal Drug Administration. It is a drug that is given to patients through an IV once a year. When a patient takes a drug over IV, they are confident that what’s being given to them is safe without questioning. After all, why would a hospital or medical facility give a patient a drug that’s anything short of safe. They trust that the drug has been put through intense testing and is definitely safe. Of course, all drugs have their side effects. But they should never make a patient suffer worse conditions than the ones they already have.
