A Functional Capacity Evaluation is conducted to determine whether or not an individual is eligible to receive social security benefits. In these evaluation individuals situations are evaluated to determine if Social Security is a legitimate and necessary option for them, and in many cases, individuals do not receive the help they ask for.
In March 2012 alone there were 289,906 applications for disability were filled according to the Social Security’s Disability program and of those less than 4 percent were awarded disability funds.
